Apologies for the hideous Arnold Schwarzenegger impression.  Though, to be fair, I don’t know that an Austrian accent really translates into print.

Forever Family will return next week.  Since New Year’s Day is traditionally the time to take stock of where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going, I thought I’d use tomorrow’s post for a little self-reflection.  While “traditional” might seem like a bit of a mismatch with RFTM, I’ve found the likelihood of flakiness greatly decreases after some introspective goal setting.

Gee, doesn’t that sound like a post you can’t wait to check out…since I do actually like all of you, I promise not to bore you with a list of dry, number crunching goals.  Other items unlikely to make the list:

  • anything related to poundage
  • housekeeping  (Sorry, BrightSide, life’s too short.)
  • beets, brussel sprouts, or other unappealing vegetables
  • Pinterest minded aspirations  (More power to you if you’ve got that going on, but I know my limitations.)
  • yoga

Pop by tomorrow and add your own goals, whimsical or otherwise, in the comments.  I’d love to hear what you’re all planning for next year.

A happy new year’s eve to you all.  Whether you ring in the new year at nine or midnight, celebrate safely and I’ll see you in 2016!
