in honor of those who’ve gone before

Memorial Day

Men and women, strong and true,
Embraced their country’s call.
Muffled battle cries in foreign lands,
On they drive to defend against a
Roar of
Injustice.
Always in our thoughts and prayers,
Loved and missed beyond measure.

Dear ones lost too soon.
Americans gone,
Yet never forgotten.

There are no words that truly capture the spirit of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.  Patriots all, through and through.
