Do you believe in love at first sight?
I do. Or I believe in one soul recognizing the beauty of another soul when they meet. What grows out of that depends on the people.
Your first car?
The first car I bought was a gorgeous, shiny red, Mazda Miata convertible. It had leather seats and a stick shift, perfect for zipping around winding roads. There was nothing quite as spectacular as driving with a star full of skies above my head.
Who taught you to ride a bike? How did it go?
My dad. While I can’t say I specifically remember the experience, based on my balancing skills I’m certain it wasn’t a smooth one.
Ugly and rich or beautiful and poor?
At the risk of annoying everyone reading, my head is stuck in last night’s debate. Oddly enough, it’s also caught on BrightSide’s testimony at church about personal wealth – how money doesn’t make you happy, it just gives you choices. Between those two things rattling around, this is how I’ll answer: You can be aesthetically beautiful and it won’t bring you anything but attention for your looks. I’ll take a beautiful spirit along with being poor any day, because the beautiful spirit is what will bring happiness.
What was the first dish you could cook?
Pasta. We’re talking sauce from the jar kind, but everyone’s gotta start somewhere.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
While Matthew (either in hurricane or post-tropical cyclone form) wreaked havoc on North Carolina, I am exceedingly grateful that my family and friends were spared.
This week I’m looking forward to a relatively calm schedule. My calendar has actual spaces on it, which is always a good sign when it comes to time for decompressing.
Cee’s Share Your World is a weekly feature and everyone’s welcome to join in the fun.
What’s going on in your world?
Glad your family members were ok in the wake of the hurricane! 🙂

My French teacher drove a lil Miata, and she was so incredibly cute in it. Oh my goodness, thank you for the memories! 🙂

That was such a fabulous car. Maybe I’ll get to drive something fun like that again once I’m toting less cargo around! 😉
