I like this! What an interesting approach to the prompt. I know all about the dog’s paws. Out-wipe-in-repeat-as-necessary. I have to say, I chuckled at the notion of bills and babies coming due 🙂

I shared an office once with a woman who was pregnant. She’d passed her due date and I lived in daily terror that her water would break in that room and I’d have to put on some kind of “you got this, I’m here with you, let’s do some breathing” bravado.
