List 2 things you have to be happy about?
Today? An app called MealBoard that lets me collect recipes in my phone, plan meals for the week, and sync it to a shopping list that’s organized according to my store’s layout. Plus the snow has melted and my kids are back in school. Can I get a hallelujah?
Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewelry?
Yes. I have two stones next to my bathroom sink that read “strength” and “courage,” and I have a rose quartz stone a friend gave me after my mom passed away. I also have a salt rock lamp in our bedroom.
Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?
I’d say I’m a hugger, but I’m also super respectful of people’s personal space. That means there’s always this funny little dance where I quickly gauge if someone’s gonna freak if I launch myself at them.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
We got this remarkable snow last week. It was a little funny because they called Wednesday as a snow day by 5:00pm Tuesday, without a single flake having fallen, so we spent the rest of the evening laying odds on whether it would actually snow. It was just a bit of a dusting around 5:00am the next morning, but then that weather system just parked. And it snowed. And snowed. By the end of the day – close to midnight, really – we had about eleven inches and it was absolutely breathtaking.
Cee’s Share Your World drops on Mondays.
What’s happening in your world today?
That much fresh snow is always beautiful. I enjoyed reading your responses this week. 😀

I lol’d when I read about you “launching” yourself at someone! Made me smile at work!

That meal planning app sounds like something I might be able to use!
I like your belief in respecting people’s personal space. I’m someone who doesn’t really like to be touched, and when people touch me without permission, I bristle up like a porcupine. I’ve been accused of being “unfriendly” many times because of this. When I think back on it, a lot of the people making those accusations were men who were probably trying to cop a feel. I don’t mind being unfriendly to them.

Bless, isn’t that the truth! Even as a hugger, there are certain people who give off a hinky vibe. My personal space boundary markers go right up!
