What is your earliest memory?
Oh, man…have I mentioned what a terrible memory I have? For real. I think my earliest memory is the smell of hot dogs. I’m told sometimes we’d get them after mom took us grocery shopping at the commissary.
Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under?
Mine goes over. Mostly because I don’t have the patience to search for the end and wrapping it under seems to hide it more. Plus an “under” roll is more likely to drop and dangle, which anyone with dogs knows is an invitation to wreck havoc.
What makes you feel grounded?
Watching the birds nibble at our feeder as I listen to their chirps. The sound of rolling ocean waves or a crackling fire. A warm shower, deep breathing, and time at the lake.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Saturday’s bunnies gave me the chance to slow down and appreciate the beauty of new life all around us. Life rolls on, we’re busy keeping up, but BrightSide’s discovery made me think about how sometimes new life is tucked away right under our nose.
Bunny Update: Sista-friend has assured me that our baby bunnies were not killed. She’s certain that mama bunny returned to feed her babies only to find human scent all over their nest and their bush protection gone, so she moved them to a new spot. Seeing as sista-friend is extremely nature knowledgeable and not in the habit of blowing sunshine up my ass, I believe her. Praise be.
Cee’s Share Your World is part of our Monday fun.
What’s happening in your world today?
Thanks so much for sharing. 😀 😀

Those things that ground you are much the same things that ground me. And I agree with sista-friend. Bunny moms are very smart.
