Carol over at Wanderings of an Elusive Mind wrote such a fun post last month! It was witty, it was fresh, it looked like a great way to spend some writing time. So yay – looks like we’re doing a bit of This or That today.

The questions:

Netflix orYouTube?  I run about a 75:1 ratio for Netflix to YouTube. Yeah, I know, you can find lots of stuff on YouTube (hello, makeup tutorial, I appreciate the highlighting powder tips) but Netflix wins out for entertainment value.

Cardio or weights?  Huh. I’m not a huge fan of the symptoms involved with cardio – sweat dripping off my nose seriously freaks me out. So I guess I choose weights.

Ice cream or snow cone?  In a beautiful alternate universe where my body doesn’t betray me if I even look at a dairy product, ICE CREAM. Ice cream all the way.

iOS or Android?  I’m an Apple devotee.

Cake or pie?  For years this was a no brainer – cake cake cakety cake. Then it depended on whether I felt like yummy pie filling. Now they’re pretty much both off the table. Next question.

Big party or small gathering?  Small gathering.

Rich friend or loyal friend?  Listen, no judgement. Okay, a little judgement. But I don’t get who answers rich over loyal because all the money in the world doesn’t mean a damn thing to me if I can’t trust you to have my back.

Football or basketball?  Definitely basketball. Please don’t talk to me about the nuance of football, the intricacies of the play, the subtleties in offense and defense. I just don’t see it.

What’s worse: laundry or dishes?  Neither are a deal breaker. I guess I’d say laundry’s worse just because of the time involved and the never-ending feeling of it – sorting, washing, drying, folding, putting the blessed things away, then it’s time to start the whole cycle over again. That gets old.

Jogging or hiking?  Umm, no. If forced to choose then I pick hiking. At a leisurely pace. Somewhere with beautiful nature.

Sneakers or sandals?  In a perfect world I’d wear sandals year round. Sneakers are a must for extensive walking, though.

Glasses or contacts?  After a brief attempt at contacts that went horribly, horribly wrong I accepted I’m a glasses girl.

Couch or recliner?  Couch.

Passenger or driver?  Depends. In the wee hours of the morning, in a strange city, or on a tight deadline then I’m better as the passenger. In my everyday life? Definitely the driver.

Blue or Red?  I think anyone who reads the blog already knows I lean blue. Pretty far blue.

Amusement park or day at the beach?  I’m more of a chill-under-an-umbrella-with-a-book-and-listen-to-the-waves kind of girl.

Toilet paper: over or under?  For the love of all things holy, over.

Cups in the cupboard?  Umm…yes? That’s where they sit, just like the glasses, on their bottoms.

Pancake or waffle?  Pancakes.

Coke or Pepsi?  We’re a Coke Zero household. That or Diet Dr. Pepper, which is another Coke product, so I guess there’s your answer.

Coffee cup or thermos?  At home I use a cup which is ironic, now that I think about it, because I usually microwave the dang thing four times.

Blinds or curtains?  We’re living with blinds around here. There was a time I planned on getting curtains but then one thing led to another and eventually I couldn’t remember why I wanted to commit to something like that.

Iced coffee or hot coffee?  Definitely hot. Although, to be fair, I’ve never been able to make myself try iced coffee.

International vacation or new TV?  I much prefer the memories made through travel over anything on television.

Save or spend?  I say save so when you want to spend you can do it without worry.

Honesty or P.C. Tactful?  Tactful honesty. (But a fly on my wall hears the unvarnished truth.)

Coffee or tea?  Coffee.

TV or book?  This depends on what’s on tv and my particular mood.

Ocean or mountains?  I’ll always choose ocean over mountains.
