In regards to puzzle what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search, mazes, logic or numeric puzzles, something else, or nothing?

My first choice is word search. Enough to make my noggin kick in but not enough to make me throw a book across the room. Crosswords are fun but sometimes fall in the book-chunking category. I also love a jigsaw puzzle but haven’t really had the stamina to see them through.

List at least five favorite treats and it doesn’t necessarily have to be food.

Chocolate (because of course!). Getting a spa pedicure with a fun red polish. Completely decompressing during my therapeutic massage. Tacos with freshly grated cheese. Listening to a great radio station OR a completely silent house, depending on my mood.

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

Yikes. As a dog owner who has two different breeds in our house this almost feels like asking me to pick a favorite child! My answer is twofold: I have to say labradors are my favorite breed just because they’re so dang lovable. But the breed I’ve always been fascinated by is the Great Dane.

Good friends circling the wagons always lift my spirits when the going is tough. I’m forever grateful for my family and friends who are walking through this particular rough patch with me. You know who you are.
