Frankly, my dears, it’s been a week.

Up’s been down, in’s been out – it’s been the kind of week when most everything has to be met with “Huh. Well, okay then. Moving on.” Basic survival skills these days. Plus coffee. Coffee is crucial.

But I’m supposed to be thinking about adverbs.

Verb qualifiers that haven’t really applied to my life this week: jauntily, jubilantly, fashionably, illegally (whoop! whoop!), or uneventfully. It was more like barely, furiously, fiercely, inconceivably, and sickly (yes, again).

Here’s hoping next week brings more wonderfully than woefully.
