What is the best pick me up that you know of? To shake you out of the blues?
I bet trampoline jumping tops this list. Can anyone really stay crabby while sproinging up and down, wind in hair, arms pinwheeling wildly? I doubt it. Not that I’ve ever tested this theory.
What would be the title of your memoir?
I Sure Talk A Lot of Smack for Someone Who’s Used GPS in Her Own Neighborhood: A Memoir.
Where do you like to go when you eat out?
There’s a local pizza place that makes a mean gluten free pizza (way more than one, actually). I’ve only enjoyed their takeout so far but BrightSide tells me it shares space with Smitty’s (our local Ben & Jerry’s) and serves lots of craft beer on tap. I’m looking forward to visiting because good pizza + good drinks + beyond good ice cream = heaven.
Do you believe in luck?
Yes. I believe the life I was born into, the circumstances I was born into, has everything to do with luck. My focus and hard work took me places but I’d be a fool to think I’m responsible for everything I’ve achieved in this life.
Aside from necessities, what is one thing you couldn’t go a day without?
Affection. I get my fix in lots of ways – snuggly dogs, hugs from the kids, rumbly Mia purrs, loves from BrightSide. I can’t imagine going an entire day without them.
Sparks from a Combustible Mind hosts Share Your World.
Love the GPS comment. Affection might be mine, too.

In my long-ago youth, I used to work out on the trampoline. No fancy stuff, I’d just do jumping jacks, and be out there for HOURS. Lost a ton of weight, and you’re right, it did always imbue me with a sense of joy. But I was 18 and what does one know at 18?? Not much. These days if I got on one (if I COULD, which is doubtful), I’d probably fall off and break another hip or something. *sigh* That bouncing was fun!! Thanks Laura for Sharing Your World and giving me a walk down Memory Lane..

I was kidding here but actually have heard that it’s wonderful exercise. It came highly recommended by a doctor who doesn’t believe in bras – now THAT’S an interesting story! 😆

Trampolines are brilliant. You are so right it is impossible to be sad on one. Even with my creaky body.
