“Like so many girls who sprang forth into adolescence headfirst down a hole of despair and emotional depravity, it all started with The Bad Corey.
This may come as a big surprise to you (except not at all because hello), but in the late 80s I was all the way into The Coreys.
That would be Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, in case you’re not familiar, and if you’re not familiar, I don’t even know where to start with you. Maybe somebody is offering Remedial Corey classes at your local night school. I highly suggest you bone up on this information, because it will be on the test.”
Sadly too many faces hide such sadness. Corey was really talented but that counts for nothing. Very sad.

It is. We’ve lost far too many people who just couldn’t find their way out of the darkness.

I LOVED those guys and was horribly sad when Corey Haim committed suicide. I just don’t ‘get’ that…but I’m sure he had his reasons. Child stars sometimes can’t adapt…I saw him in a little known film (which was really excellent) with Olympia Dukakis (sp?) and other faded stars about a nursing home and the rip-off artist who ran the place. Corey did a great job! He had talent, which makes his death all the more puzzling to me.

The spate of suicides by famous actors/artists over the last few years has taught me that we never truly know what’s going on in someone’s life, even very public figures. Maybe *especially* very public figures.
