Do you believe in soul mates? If so, do you think there is only one person meant to share that bond with you, out there in the world? (credit to Cyranny of Cyranny’s Cove)
I believe we can share that bond with someone only when we’re 100% open to ourselves and the universe around us. Focusing on money, social standing, appearances, “should” thinking – it all clouds becoming who we’re truly meant to be. After we find that I don’t think we’re limited to connecting with only a certain number of people in our lives.
Ice cream cone, shake or other ice cream concoction?
A really good milkshake is hard to beat. CookOut makes a strawberry one that is sooooo yummy.
What would be the hat to end all hats? What could you wear on your head that would make people stop what they are doing and stare in awe and amazement?
I’m not typically one for hats so I’m pretty sure if I showed up in anything fancy – picture the Kentucky Derby or a summer wedding in London – people would stop and stare. Particularly if feathers are involved.
What would be the worst “buy one get one free” sale of all time?
The kind where you buy manure for your specialty garden out back and they deliver a double dose by your front door instead.
Bonus Question. Please share a moment of gratitude that you experienced during the past week.
The trees are in full bloom here. Unfortunately, that means the pollen is kicking our collective ass, but the backyard is absolutely beautiful. There’s something about everything coming back to springtime green that renews my spirit.

I used to love the Shamrock shake McDonalds does during St. Patricks Day every year, but that aside I will have to pick vanilla ice cream with chocolate jimmies (sprinkles). I’ve never had a strawberry shake though… maybe I’m missing out?

Thanks for Sharing Your World, Laura! It’s doing the spring thing here too (between bouts of rain), and my allergies are really bad this year. I never had allergies when I lived in the city, it was only moving to the country that made them show up. My sympathies with regard to yours.

I hesitate to even write this — and I’m knocking on every wood surface within reach — but mine haven’t been nearly as bad this year. My son’s been knocked off his feet for almost three months straight now, and the others have suffered more than in years past. Makes me wonder how much has to do with moving away from an enormous field in my backyard and how much is just me being super happy where I live…
