I shudder to think how boring I’d be if I never fell down at all. How else are we supposed to discover what makes us feel extraordinary if we aren’t willing to fail?

Yes! But we learn early that perfect scores are best & to feel shame when we make a mistake. My favorite teachers are the ones who create a space for safely failing then trying again.
