What happens if you stare at the mirror for too long in the dark? (credit to Ursula of An Upturned Soul. If you haven’t read Ursula’s blog, go over and just wade in and enjoy. To me she’s fascinating and what she writes about is always worth the journey).
I can’t say I’ve done this particular thing but based on highly unscientific data gathered from fuzzy memories of staring too long at anything in the dark I’m guessing it involves seeing spots and imagining things popping up behind you. Or maybe you just get sucked into an alternate dimension, leaving behind a damp toothbrush and the lightest scent of lavender.
Do you think you’re judgmental? What tends to bring it out in you? (Credit to Ashleyleia for this one)
Yep. All the personality tests I take say so, too. I’ve always operated on the theory that being judgmental is part of the human condition, but I guess some people must score low on judgmental so that kind of blows my theory out of the water. I will 100% admit that parenting brings out the judgmental in me.
Do you work better with actual lists or with mental lists? (Credit to Sadje of Keep it Alive)
Oh my word, my lists have to be real world. Absolutely. When I’ve got a mental to do list I spend a ridiculous amount of time concerned I’m forgetting something or, you know, actually forgetting something. A mental list is far too stressful for me.
Would you go streaking across a football field during a game for a million dollars (insert your own country’s currency), knowing there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get arrested for indecent exposure? (This one is mine. Yeah, my mind wanders to some highly strange places sometimes.)
This one’s a no. What’s funny is my first reaction wasn’t am I willing to risk getting arrested? It was Run? That far? In front a crowd? NAKED?? Good Lord, no. Maybe I should be more focused on what I can do with a million dollars. Maybe I’d answer this question differently if I wasn’t all bloated from chicken burritos and sangria.
What has happened in your life that made you feel uplifted and happy, if only temporarily?
Getting my toenails painted. It’s not like it lasts but boy, does it put a smile on my face right after they’re done.
