First post I read from your blog, and I’m hooked! One of my all time favorite quotes is: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing”.
It’s such a shame, too. There really isn’t enough creative play, & too many kids just freeze up if there isn’t a phone to play on in the checkout line.
I hear you. We were incredibly blessed to find a preschool that believed wholeheartedly in learning through play. (So much so that they called it “Playschool”.)

I received a video of my daughter and granddaughter this morning playing bells and singing Jingle Bells. I am thankful she has rich play experiences.,
