Accepting change is a good thing – love that quote. I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the changing colors on the trees before all the leaves have dropped. Naked trees with just a few leaves are pretty in a way – the dark contrast of the bark against the pops of color is fun stage too.

Absolutely agree. I’ve learned to love trees in all their stages — I even have some beautiful shots of starkly empty winter trees. They all pull me in. 💛

Pithy quote for as far as it goes. The leaves drop, sure. But then do we get to rake them away, out of our yards [and lives]? Therein is the crux of the matter.

An excellent point. If we just let them pile up around us and slow us down then we haven’t finished the work. Dropping them is only half the battle. 🙂
