When was the last time you tried something new?
I wrote last week about the copycat Bounty bars and Chocolate PB protein bites so I’ll risk sounding food obsessed because the time before that was when I made this Creamy White Chicken Chili by divascancook.com. I’ve always been a traditional chili fan but oh.my.lawd. People. Even my KIDS loved this chili! YUM.
If you were forced to eliminate every physical possession from your life with the exception of what could fit into a single backpack, what would you put in it?
My phone, laptop, air pods, and chargers (sorry, but true). My wallet, passport, and a good water bottle. A notebook and at least two good pens. Two pairs of undies (because hello, dry time), two comfy pairs of socks, a sports bra, shorts, a couple of t-shirts, plus my North Face jacket with scarf/hat/gloves and Birks (assuming I’m wearing my jeans, a super soft sweatshirt, and sneakers). Hair ties and deodorant because sweaty necks and sticky pits are uncomfortable. Then I’d slide two sentimental items in with all the practical stuff.
What simple fact do you wish more people understood?
Kindness changes everything. If you’re kind to other people – all other people, not just the ones you like – it shifts the energy and you end up feeling better, too.

Overall I’d say cheese. We go through a pretty remarkable amount of cheddar cheese around here, and considering I’m the one who picks out recipes I have to own this one. When the teen is carb loading then it’s definitely milk and cereal.
