“The most interesting people are the unusual. No one writes about or discusses the average, the ordinary, or the common; they write about and discuss the weird, the mad and the different, so if you are one, even though the opinions of others are of no importance, you are, in their eyes, significant enough to notice and remember.”

You always find such interesting quotes for us to ponder. Wonder what it would be like if Instagram had a day for all to post “normal” life, instead of polished life, or weird life, or eccentric? Cheers to normal! And like Ally said – be yourself! I can only imagine how hard it is to raise kids nowadays with all the social media feedback they get? You’re a superhero mom to me to be able to navigate it all!

I’d be 100% on board with a normal/weird/eccentric only day. They could set up bots to screen out anything taken with filters and we could all revel in the feeling that we’re perfectly okay just as we are.

I always admit my unusual or weird tendencies, along with the boring ones. Whether or not anyone notices it, it’s a confirmation of who I am.

Aren’t we all, Dan.

And that is precisely why I read nobody’s blog. Why before I did I never realized that Danes could be mund. Now where was that scotch bottle…

Ah, if only I had a dollar for every time I heard “now where was that scotch bottle”… 😆😆

In desperate times such as you describe I would settle for one wee small dram of scotch. Dollars be damned.

Yep. Be different, be sincere, be you– and people will notice you, for better or worse.

And then the trick is not caring if it’s better or worse. 😉

Hoping I always fit into one of those categories: weird, mad, or different. Great quote!

This is my hope, too! Here’s to the weirdos. 🙂

Too many seem to fear differences now. That is so sad and ever so dangerous.

I can’t understand it. The differences are the fun parts!
