What do you think of best friends of the opposite sex? Or to put it another way “Can men and women ever be platonic friends? Doesn’t sex always get in the way?”
I think it’s possible to have a best friend of the opposite sex, though that might be trickier if you’re married as a hetero couple. I had two guys in my high school days that I considered best friends and no, I don’t think the sex thing gets in the way. This might not work as well in adulthood but I haven’t really tested that theory.
What is the greatest struggle you’ve overcome?
No way, this one tempts fate. Every time I think I’ve overcome my greatest struggle the universe throws something else enormous my way.
What is the darkest thought you’ve ever had? What about the darkest thing you’ve done that you’ve never told anybody about? (Obviously you’ll be telling now if you choose to. Telling might unburden you a little though.)
Lord, this one’s full of nope, can’t answer that one questions.
and one ‘fun’ one because I realize those others were pretty deep)
What is your least favorite food?
Cauliflower. I’ve tried it steamed (ugh), in casseroles (ick), even covered in ranch dip (ew). It is one big fat nope for me.

I like the way you handled the hard questions, especially the “greatest struggle” one. That made me laugh a little.
Have you tried Cauliflower fried? I mean, it might offset any of the health benefits, but it really is pretty good.

Can’t say I’ve had it fried and you’re right, that might be the only thing that could make cauliflower palatable. I vote the veggie benefits still count because there’s NO WAY eating cauliflower doesn’t earn you being good points.

Every time a doctor asks son if he is allergic to anything he always replies. Brussels Sprouts and cauliflower.

Cauliflower is the new potatoes. At least that’s what it’s being used for.

No! No no no no no!! I cannot tolerate things like “cauliflower” pizza and other nonsense. This simply isn’t a vegetable that can mimic off limits gluten items AT ALL.

Thanks Laura for Sharing Your World. Cauliflower isn’t for everyone, that’s for sure. I don’t mind it raw (as long as the flowerets are SMALL, none of this whole side of the thing size thanks, and steamed (never boiled. Boiled = YUCKY!!) with cheese sauce over it, but it’s rare I eat it. It causes internal combustion with me and I don’t need any more of THAT thanks. It’s perfectly sensible to say ‘no’ to questions that cut a little close to home, no judging here!

Yeah, this just wasn’t my week for wading into the weeds but I know you’re cool with that. 🙂

Kinda like the question – who did you think was a real friend and then they couldn’t help you bury the body deep enough.

Try fried, as in Mediterranean cuisine, it tastes great.

Okay, I have to admit I’ve never tried it fried, and that DOES make everything better… 😉
