What do you do to get rid of stress?
This usually has everything to do with our fur babies – loving on the kitty and snuggling the dogs always eases stress. Sometimes it’s baking or cooking something comforting. The honest truth is that exercise makes me feel better, too, it’s just not my go-to solution.
In the past people were buried with the items they would need in the afterlife, what would you want buried with you so you could use it in the afterlife?
A really good rollerball ink pen, a journal, and my camera. Plus lip balm.
What’s the opposite of a koala? (this is strictly for fun. I know what I came up with as an answer, but it was nonsensical. Alaok. See? It’s okay to pass on this one too if you want)
Well, that would have to be the absolute last thing I’d want to cuddle up close to so maybe a Komodo Dragon?
What’s the creepiest tech out there? (My interpretation of “tech” is app or program. If you know what “tech” is supposed to mean, hey! Great! Educate us.)
I’d say it’s one of those Trojan viruses that downloads into your computer and spies on all your keystrokes, capturing passwords and taking control of your camera. Yikes.
What method are you using to find your smile right now? Please explain in detail so others might utilize the same ideas. Some bloggers have shared a daily (weekly sometimes) method that they are using to keep their spirits up right now.
When it’s sunny I make sure to sit outside for at least twenty minutes. I start each morning off with a great cup of coffee and make time to love on my dogs. Also, ice cream.

Thanks Laura for Sharing Your World! 🙂 You got a camera?
Oh right. Teens and tweens… guess a camera is mandatory. I’ve been toying with buying one for my computer, but after hearing all the people responding to SYW who talk about the spyware possibly attached to those things, eh. Maybe I’ll just stay in the dark ages…. Give your gorgeous pets a snuggle for me too! I’ve got a Ziggy dog on my lap as I’m typing these responses this morning! He likes it up here (plus food might magically fall from the sky…)

Magical dropping food is a major plus for the pups. Ours tend to linger underfoot anytime there’s a snack in hand. Thanks for dropping by, Melanie!

I like the idea of making time for 20 minutes to sit outside. I must do that. It’s staggering that during the lockdown the only time I’ve actually sat down outside is after I’ve slumped in a heap after my morning workout. Look after yourself.

We really all must look out for ourselves and check in on each other these days, right? Hopefully you’ll have some sunny days.
