Batons. Tear gas. Violence in the streets.
Our government in action.
Don’t look away. Our country depends on it.
If the federal government of any other country was perpetrating this sort of violence against its own citizens, there would be calls for the United States to cut off foreign aid to that country—especially military aid.#PortlandProtestspic.twitter.com/gZrHwHCIxC

Look at all these rioters and anarchists!
Wait, they’re just walking and holding signs. Not really destroying anything that I can see. Looks pretty organized.
Idk I’m calling bullshit on this rioter narrative.

No matter how Trump tries to paint the peaceful crowds at the #PortlandProtests as anarchists and agitators, his Gestapo tactics won’t deter them, IT WILL ONLY MAKE THEM STRONGER.
The world is watching, and Americans will be voting in November to remove his Nazi regime. https://t.co/OgssWsjflc

I told all the moms “there are a lot of radicle anarchists here tonight, and we want you to know, we all think you are REALLY FUCKING COOL” #portlandprotests (there’s easily 300-400 moms here) pic.twitter.com/ivdfVl4dpp

The moms have arrived at the courthouse/Justice Center. They are chanting “Hey, hey, ho, ho, these racist cops have got to go.” Their arrival was met with loud cheers. #portland #PortlandProtest #portlandprotests #PortlandOregon #PortlandOR #oregon #BLMprotest #PDXprotests #PDX pic.twitter.com/JEYteybF3m

Absolutely DISGUSTING

This is scary on many levels. Thank you for sharing it.

Every day it gets more volatile. I woke up this morning to news about shootings at protests in two (I think?) different cities last night. These are dark times.

I hope more people wake up before November.

What has gone so badly wrong. We are bad but that’s just staggering.

It truly is. Now Trump’s saying he’s sending troops into other cities and governors are pushing back. If his advisors don’t get him under control we could end up with clashes like this all over the country. It’s hard to believe it’s 2020.

I just cannot believe how this nation has deteriorated in just a few years of Chump Trump regime. Saddens and disgust me.

Me too. I knew things were bad on election night and I knew they’d get worse. I had no idea how much damage could be inflicted with a single man’s administration.

The problem is that it isn’t just a single man. Trump by himself couldn’t do nearly this much damage. But with almost an entire major political party as his enablers, he’s wreaked havoc.

Yes, they’re all complicit. He wouldn’t have been able to do this much damage if the GOP had made use of the checks and balances in our system.

We have come to this point – our government behaving like Hitler’s government. I sigh a sigh of deep sadness and pray we don’t completely implode before November, as I also pray that cooler, more reasonable heads prevail during the election.

I always feel presidential elections are especially weighty but there’s so much more riding on this one.

Wait for it. He is getting ready to declare the Constitution Top Secret. Move it. Take the signs off the building. Call it fake freedom, fake news.

There’s so much “wonder what madness today will bring” going on right now. It’s hard to process.

If Americans do not get out and register and vote then I truly fear for what will become of us. I am so freakin’ proud of the people who are risking their lives to push back against these anti-American tactics.

It’s amazing to see, isn’t it? I think they’re on day 55 or 56 there now — this thing isn’t just going to blow over.
