I love autumn, and if it could last longer – like until spring – I would encourage its arrival too. But it leads to winter, and winter is depressing. I remember when I lived in Southern California, I missed winter and snow. But I was younger then, and foolish.

Winter is a hard no for me, too. I don’t do well with the shorter days, less sunshine, and cold weather (ick). But stewing in this 90+ degree 80% humidity hell makes me willing to inch toward winter just so I can stop melting. 😆

I’m equally torn. Spring has all those pretty blooms when things come back to life, but autumn has all the colorful leaves and the start of cooler weather.
