Are we “here” or do we just think we are? (A metaphysical question today folks.) Can you prove your point of view?

I think we’re here. To be fair this might be due mainly to a lack of imagination on my part. As far as proof goes I’d wager anyone stranded outdoors in a blizzard is crystal clear on the existential nature of actually being “here”.

From an identity stand-point, which would be the worst for you personally to lose? Your face, your body or your voice? Which do YOU identify with most strongly for your own sense of self?

I’m spending WAY too much time trying to answer this one. Maybe my face – except what does my face have to do with my personality. Okay then, my body – except losing part of my body isn’t the end of the world, it’s not like I’m a professional dancer or athlete and people learn how to live after losing a body part all the time. So then it’s got to be my voice, right? Okay. I’d say writing is my primary mode of communication but without my voice I’d miss being able to use inflection when talking with people. Hard to be snarky in sign language, y’know?

Do you have a ‘song’? If you’re part of a couple, you could use “your couple’s song” OR a song that’s just always resonated with you.

Considering how much I like music it’s probably weird I don’t really have a song. Don’t think the hubby and I have one either. This either means I love music so much “my song” depends on my mood or coronavirus has sucked all decision making skills from my body.

“Spooky” Halloween Question:  Oooo! BOO!  Weeghostie

Are ghosts real or has someone been smoking something and just imagines them?

This one falls squarely in the realm of well, I don’t have any firsthand experience with ghosts but I’ve got no reason to think they don’t exist so…maybe they exist? I guess? Sounds possible to me.

Please free free to share a moment of gratitude you experienced over the past week.

Schitt’s Creek dropped its final season on Netflix. It was worth waiting for.
