Y’all I can’t. I just can’t.
This is Wednesday midnight me and I can’t blog, delightfully or otherwise, tonight. Although I suppose this qualifies as otherwise so there you are.
Tomorrow I’ll wake up fresh. Or today. Today I’ll wake up ready to celebrate my nontraditional Thanksgiving with my tiny group of humans and fur babies. There will be turkey and mashed potatoes and canned cranberry sauce because canned cranberry sauce is the correct cranberry sauce and I will not be entertaining discussion on the matter.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll manage to take my fresh attitude and publish something a little more…Thanksgivingish. Hope springs eternal.
Cranberry Sauce a la Bart!

Anyone who argues that ‘canned’ cranberry sauce is not THE SAUCE, is wrong. And shall be banished from eating Thanksgiving dinner with other people. I’ve had the homemade variety and yep. Canned is better.

Melanie, words can’t describe how shocked I’ve been when I’ve hosted a sort of potluck “help by bringing sides” holiday and someone shows up with a bowl of FANCY SAUCE. 😱

Happy Thanksgiving, Laura. A can of whole berry cranberry is our go-to choice.

Oh goodness, we’re the “plopped the can shaped jelly mold onto a plate and slice into disks” kind of house. Well, technically just me and the girl since we’re not hosting this year but you can bet we’ll be opening that can!

We are the plob the can into a bowl. Get to skip all the slicing.

Happy Thanksgiving Laura. I’ll just add that we picked up Thanksgiving dinner from a local restaurant that we enjoy. The description of their cranberry sauce sounds, well, like a chef made it. Of course, I picked up a can at the store on Tuesday.

Oh yeah, I’d be hedging my bets too. 😆 But how nice that you won’t have to cook the rest of the meal. Have a great day.
