What would you enjoy if you could do so without someone getting annoyed with you for enjoying it? It MUST be something you aren’t supposed to enjoy because it is “bad for you”.
I’d say a day of binge watching my favorite shows while scarfing down nachos and beer with a milkshake chaser. Funny enough nobody here would be bothered by the food but I do live with other people and doubt they’d be thrilled with twelve+ hours of mindless television running in the background.
Is it okay for men to wear the color pink?
I don’t see why not. Unless you’re one of those folks who look all washed out in pink then feel free to wear it but people will ask all day if you’re feeling okay.
Can you curl your tongue?
Nope, but I can cock my left eyebrow in disbelief so I’m good.
What, in your opinion, is the best room to put a fireplace?
I like them in the family room. Fireplaces in the bedroom are pretty but my perfect snowy day involves being curled up under a throw on the sofa, drinking hot cocoa and watching movies in front of a toasty warm fire. Mmm.
How do you show your gratitude?
Mostly by hugs (pre-corona) and heartfelt thank yous. Sometimes I throw in a note for good measure because my mama raised me like that.

Your mama raised you right! Thanks Laura for Sharing Your World and that darling photo of your new fur-kid. He (she?) is a darling little kitty! ❤ I'm a tad jealous of your cocked eyebrow. I ALWAYS wanted to do that, the silent sarcasm in that look is priceless!! Have a wonderful week, and a little binge-ing now and then never hurt anyone. Well in my opinion, because I do it now and then. Ziggy doesn't care much though.

Thanks, Melanie, *he* is a doll and has been having a blast in the Christmas tree I just put up. No decorations yet — I’m waiting to see if the tree survives before I decide what ornaments seem tough enough to make it.

Binge watching? Hmmm, depends on the show as to whether I’d want to hide that from view.

True that. Sometimes I forget what the shows are like and load one up to rewatch…”Saving Grace” was like that. I remembered this funny, awesome, kick ass crime show with a crazy angel character. Totally slipped my mind that the lead was a promiscuous detective until the first episode loaded up with her totally naked in bed. Whoops. Sorry, kids, let me turn that off. 😆

I used to tell my daughter “we’ll skip over the boring parts.”

I have gone through the binge watching phase. At the end of it all, it’s quite tiring.

Very true! I usually forget how tired it makes me until it’s all over, though.

Yes, that’s usually the case.

I did not read the directions on how you show gratitude instead of what you are grateful for. I agree that showing your true emotions is the best. My mom also taught me that you can’t use the gift until you have thanked the gifter.

Same here! My kids used to think I was crazy having them write notes to teachers at the end of the year. I also can’t count how many times a teacher’s told me how much that little thank you note meant to them. 💛
