Is every piece of truth worth telling? (credit to the magnificent Cyranny for this one)

No. I know I’m all honesty-is-gold-be-true-to-yourself and such but seriously, some things just don’t need to be said.

Whom do you miss more Freddy Mercury or Prince? (if you don’t know who those people are, just skip this question. It’s cool).

Okay, in my defense I am terrible at names so yes, I googled Freddy Mercury and no, I had no idea he was a) Queen’s lead singer and b) wrote most of the songs on their Greatest Hits album. Now back to the original question: I liked them both well enough while they were here but I’m not torn up about either one being gone. I really love singing along to “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Little Red Corvette.”

If you could only email or text people for the rest of your life (no other form of communication), which would you chose?

Definitely email. I like the immediacy of texting but overall life has way too much detail to handle via text.

Would you prefer to work the midnight shift at a really creepy out of the way motel OR work alone for eternity?

I am 100% never ever ever agreeing to work the midnight shift at a creepy out of the way anything. Looks like I’m embracing my solo energy.

Bonus question because yes, these are a weird bunch this week:  What’s one secret you’re still keeping from your immediate family? (no details required.  You could say something like “The lost weekend in 1982”.  You can also answer “Why I NEVER keep secrets from my nearest and dearest!”).

That thing I did in high school. Don’t ask.

Please feel free to share something uplifting that you’ve experienced so far in 2021.

I’ve started checking out the Good News Network. Just last night I read about a New Jersey plumber who packed up his truck and drove the 22 hours to Texas after its crippling ice storm. Not only did he show up to pitch in when local resources were overwhelmed, Andrew Mitchell charged clients what they could afford.
