If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be for? (Covid considerations are suspended for this question.)

No reason at all. It would be an appetizer potluck with plenty of adult drinks and our closest friends.

Is a picture worth a thousand words? Elaborate.

Yes. Words convey who, what, when, where, and why then we spend the rest of our time twisting them to capture nuance and convey intangibles. Pictures can show concrete details but they also can capture mood, impressions, or (again) intangibles. Some things really can’t be shared without that visual component.

Where IS Waldo? (Waldo, for those unfamiliar with him, is a cartoon character featured in many “find Waldo” images and puzzles)    No this isn't an April Fool's prank, it's actually Where's Waldo Week on Google Maps | This is the Loop | Golf Digest  <——  WALDO

Waldo is enjoying a remote retreat in the Himalayas where they’ve taken a vow of silence while maintaining perpetual smiles.

What’s the best part of waking up?

I can’t be the only one who just sang 🎼 is Folgers in your cup! It ran through my head, yes, but that’s not my version. My best part of waking up is when I don’t have to be anywhere right away so I can let the dogs outside then wander upstairs in my PJs to make my Breakfast Blend with 75% of a Stevia packet, one teaspoon cane sugar, one tablespoon cocoa, and when I’m feeling spunky a shot of whipped cream on top.

Would you rather be covered in fur or covered in scales? (Wee disclaimer. I’m certainly not advocating the slaughter of creatures and the use of their skins for clothing or accessories. No! This question is a ‘grow your own’ type question…if you had an option of your own skin being made of fur OR scales, which would you choose?)

I’m gonna go with fur because while I may occasionally feel like my insides are bursting into flames I’m mostly layering on sweatshirts and tracking down socks to wear with my slippers.

Feel free to share your gratitude for our world!

It’s been a tough week. (Yes, I know I wrote this Monday night. I’m looking at the seven day turnaround.) Anyway, that means I’m tallying little pick-me-ups like honey BBQ potato chips, Utz cheese balls, super soft pajama pants, afternoons when all my fur babies gather in the family room to nap, blueberries when they’re perfectly ripe, random spurts of energy, and weather that’s inching toward Birkenstock temps again.
