How well do you know your next-door neighbors? Do you like them? (credit to Cyranny for the question)

In our old house we knew all (okay, 98%) of our neighbors well. In this one we’ve spoken more in passing but I like our neighbors; they seem like nice people.

Do you have a full length mirror? (credit to Sadje for the rest of the questions)

Yes. It hangs on the back of my closet door so I can see if I’ve put together a bizarre combination of clothes and/or shoes. It’s gotten very little use over the last year but somehow I’m okay with that.

(for the men) Do you shave every day or do you like the ‘stubble’ look, or a beard?

Ha! I’m out.

(for the ladies) How long do you spend putting on make-up in the morning?

Generally speaking, none. In covid times I’ll smooth on moisturizer with sunscreen and that’s pretty much it. If I’m on a zoom call I might add concealer and mascara – I’ll throw in liquid eyeliner if I’m feeling really spunky (or if I’m exhausted and trying to hide it). So basically five/ten minutes tops.

How many items of clothing are in your bedroom (or closet) and not hung up?

You caught me on a good day. I finally got irritated with the PJs I tend to toss on the edge of my tub and put everything up. On the average day, though, you’ll find a couple of pairs of pajama pants and a sweatshirt lying near my sink. It’s not a great habit.

Do you have a happy place?

On the water. Well, technically not on the water because boats are definitely not my happy place. More like near the water so I can look out on it.
