Do you think psychic abilities exist?

I kept starting and stopping my answer on this so I finally looked this up: “Psychics…are simply individuals who are able to see, hear, feel, sense, taste, or have intuition beyond the boundaries of the physical world.” That straightened me out a bit. Yes, I believe psychic abilities exist.

How would you describe peanut butter to someone who didn’t know what it was?

A ridiculously dense and sticky substance full of deliciousness. Take a marshmallow, condense the mass by 1000%, and make it taste like peanuts. Stick a giant spoonful in your mouth and there’s a fifty/fifty chance your phone will ring.

Why does an octopus squirt ink?

The psychic question drove me to google but I’m giving this one a shot. If ancient elementary school knowledge serves it seems like a defensive skill. Then again an octopus is pretty terrifying so maybe ink is offensive, like it blinds or immobilizes its prey. Shoot, now I’m gonna have to google it.

Who are two of today’s greatest entertainers in your opinion? (can be actors, musicians, singers etc)

Okay, listen. “Greatest entertainers” sounds super lofty and such but my brain is fried so I’m going with people who always make me stop and watch.

Jennifer Garner has done this for me lately. Sure, she was in the aforementioned Butter but the other day I watched some nonsense little ditty called Yes Day on Netflix and even that made me smile. She’s just…fun.

Reese Witherspoon also tops my list. She’s done a bevy of lighten-the-load movies but – and I cannot emphasize this enough – if you haven’t watched her in Little Fires Everywhere yet you’re really missing out.

Honorable mentions: Will Smith, James Earl Jones, Sandra Bullock, Denzel Washington, and Kerry Washington.

Please feel free to share a moment of gratitude in your life!

It’s been in the 70s the last two days. Warm weather and blue skies are good for the soul.
