I’ve been tired before. Tired is up late too many nights in a row, attending too many meetings in a day, pushing through when you run out of keurig cups. Tired is surface level and often something a good nap can ease.
But weary? Weary is bone deep. It’s a cellular level tired that drags everything in you downward. Naps won’t touch it; you’ll need something like a medically induced coma if you’re looking to make a dent.
Looks like Sunday’s my catchup day.
Weary is not a good thing. Hope you can catch up.

It’s almost 10pm and I’m feeling much better than last night. Or this morning. Or this afternoon even. 😆

I’m sorry Laura. I kinda know that feeling.

I’m 100% sure you do. Sometimes we just hit the wall.

Sounds like it’s time to sit back and give in to the need for naps, reading or whatever it is that relaxes you, and let the family fend for itself for a day or so. Hugs.

I think you’re right, Carol. I swear I keep pushing through and I’m *still* surrounded by unfolded laundry, kitchen jobs, clutter, teen drama, and piles of clothes at the foot of my bed. It just never lets up, you know? I’m tagging out.
