I’ve spent the day flat on my back, staring at the family room ceiling and wondering exactly how much back pain is reasonable. Mia moved on and off my lap occasionally but mostly I was on my own, vainly looking for a comfortable position.
Narrator: There was no comfortable position. Just bad, really bad, and sob quietly until it subsides bad.
Let me tell you, folks. You don’t know humility until you have to pee and log roll halfway off a couch only to find the dog’s blocked you in. The struggle is real.
Virtual hugs, Laura, because a real hug might hurt. And – my arms aren’t that long.

I’ll take all the virtual hugs I can get, Carol. 🙂

I’m sorry that you’re in so much pain. Back pain is the worst. Have you tried a heating pad? And lots of Advil?

The heating pad is a lifesaver and Doan’s is making silly little things like walking to the bathroom possible. 😆

I’m so sorry Laura, how did this happen?

I’m pretty certain I aggravated my sciatic nerve from my messed up gait since I tore my meniscus. 😐
