Spot on Laura. I never understood this argument anyway that white lives matter as well.

It’s extraordinarily perplexing to me because well, yes, they *do* matter and always have. BLM doesn’t mean white people don’t suffer or struggle or that their lives don’t matter, it means we need to talk about the ways Black lives really are. But the argument is circular so I don’t find myself successful when talking with someone about it.
