And now all I can think about is yum yum in the tum tum.
Anyone else remember this phrase from their childhood? I guess technically you might have used it as a parent. Come to think of it I believe I may have used this once or twice while babysitting — a thirteen-year-old can get a little desperate when the babies won’t eat. Just saying.
That being said we had some yum yum in the tum tum food yesterday. BrightSide made his delightfully delicious double breaded turkey nuggets and perfectly seasoned green beans. I contributed mashed potatoes with a ridiculous amount of butter (mmmm) and fabulous gravy because who doesn’t love gravy with their mashed potatoes? Jellied cranberry sauce also made an appearance, along with warm rolls that I was told were delightful.
SO MUCH YUM YUM.
Also so many leftovers. I imagine we’ll be enjoying more of it today. Here’s hoping you and your families are enjoying Christmas morning and/or a nice December weekend.
Linda hosts Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week’s prompt is “yum.” Use it any way you’d like. Have fun!
I still use yum yum in the tum tum, far too often for me to admit it here xD
Hope you had a joyous Christmas!
