What’s The Strangest Thing In Your Refrigerator?
I’d say a random half eaten jar of capers I’m pretty sure we opened three years ago. BrightSide would say my giant bottle of Chick-fil-A sauce.
Would You Rather Hear The Music Of Johann Sebastian Bach Played By A Barbershop Quartet, Or A Heavy Metal Band?
Umm…neither? They both sound like something from a torture chamber, but I guess if I had to choose it would be the barbershop quartet.
If You Could Erase One Event From History, Which One Would You Erase?
I can’t be the only one who finds this question overwhelming. Wars, genocide, slavery, cults…there are way too many delete-worthy events to choose from. Can I erase Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death? Probably not since everyone has to die. So I pick Trump’s election.
If Your Food Is Bad At A Restaurant, Do You Say Something?
I’m reaching way back in the memory banks here, it seems like forever since I’ve eaten at a restaurant. It depends what sort of “bad” we’re talking about. If I just don’t like the taste of something new, well, that’s just tough luck. Live and learn, y’know? And the honest truth is I mostly deal with food stuff myself — wilted lettuce or sad tomato on a burger? Just drop those babies on the plate and keep it moving.
On one side of the earth we’re facing upcoming Spring, and on the other Autumn. What positive or uplifting thought do these changes bring to you?
We’re heading into Spring here and that’s usually a positive time for me. Longer daylight hours, bright daffodils, warm days but not too hot, so many birds flocking around the feeder — lots of stuff that makes me smile.

Thank you Laura for Sharing Your World! You sound much better, I hope that means you’re well on the road to recovery! Spring always gives me the same boost, and isn’t it just grand though? 🙂 Three year old capers? I’m thinking it might be time to toss them. Keeping stuff around that may have overstayed it’s time is to tempt fate. I’ve shared my expired mayo story before. 🤢 Maybe capers keep better though. The Holocaust was sweeping the event category, but I’ve now gotten three ‘votes’ for eradicating T-dump’s election. I like how one blogger put it… It’s not just that he was a poor choice for POTUS, but the fact that he made the already bad stuff so much worse. I agree. I hope you have a splendid week! 😀

The holocaust also popped into my head. Then slavery/the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Then Jim Crow laws. In the end I just couldn’t settle on *which* historical event would be best to erase but I knew erasing those four years under Trump would affect so many things.

RBG’s death would be a good one to erase. tRumps election is even better.
