Time to rope in those wild expectations and get on board.
Dusty tables? Well, okay, it’s low on the list. But I’ll show you where the dusting mitt is and you feel free to swipe away.
Carpet snags that need fixing? Yeah, that should have been done by now but here we are. Maybe this week? Maybe tomorrow.
Okay, there’s clutter, but in my defense it’s less clutter than two weeks ago so I count that a win.
I haven’t opened a book in six months but every time I even think of doing it I break out in a cold sweat. No ability to focus so I’ve got a hard time imagining how to take in info. Bless.
Managed to finish the pantry project and now I’m eyeballing the game room closet where we store all our cleaning materials, first aid stuff, and random things like vacuum filters. I dunno, guys, it’s gonna mean pulling everything out and starting over and that’s a little daunting.
WE CAN DO HARD THINGS. After a nap. And a snack.
Linda hosts Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week’s prompt is “rope.” Use it as a noun or a verb. Have fun!
Considering you have kids at home, it sounds like you’re doing great. Congratulations on the pantry project. I try to read books before bed and fall asleep after a few pages.

Maybe I should try that. I feel bad keeping the light on when the hubby’s gone to sleep but it’s probably no worse than my phone light in the dark…

The light doesn’t bother my hubby once he’s asleep.

Doesn’t it though? My napping skills are off but I hope those come back soon,

A nap, a snack and perhaps an adult beverage.

Well done on the prompt. In my mind organization is way overrated.

Can’t you see someone on their death bed saying, “I wish I had organized more. Especially my closet.”
