If You Could Be Best Friends With A Celebrity, Who Would It Be?
Is it weird to say I wouldn’t want to be best friends with a celebrity? I feel like I’d bring all these misconceptions and inevitably I’d mess up the friendship. That being said I’d probably be cool with Jennifer Garner. Wait, I forgot about Glennon Doyle! I take it back, I think I’d love being best friends with Glennon Doyle.
What is, or should be, the main purpose of law?
Law should establish constraints within which every life is protected and valued. We’re not there.
Do You Care About Reviews?
This follows the 20/80 rule. 20% of me cares, of course I do, it’s part of being human to have feelings about what other people think. 80% of me says meh, they like what they like, so be it.
And I just now read this question like “do you care about reviews when you’re seeing a movie or buying a product?” In that case yes, I 100% care about reviews. I’ll read a hundred reviews on slotted spoons before picking one. It’s a problem, I know.
Is the ‘mind’ different to the ‘brain’? If so, in what ways?
Hmm, that’s an interesting question. ‘Mind’ feels like it encapsulates everything — impressions, emotions, thoughts, dreams, and knowledge. ‘Brain’ makes me think biology — cerebrum, cerebellum, brainstem, and all the goods that make us run.
Overall how sunny is your nature? (Optimistic)?
Hmm. Brutal honesty demands I admit I’m not that sunny. I try not to worst case scenario things all the time but I kinda admit my knee jerk tendencies lean doom and gloomy.

Good answers, as usual. I like your answer on celebrities. I tend not to rely on reviews because so many of them are paid for (even some of the “authenticated” ones).

Thanks, Dan. You’re right about the reviews. I like to think the sheer volume I read (it’s ridiculous, really) might balance them out in the end. But like I’ve taught my kiddos, there’s really nothing like a personal recommendation.

Thanks Laura for Sharing Your World! Now educate an old lady…who is Glennon Doyle? I’ll Google them of course, but huh? I’ve lost touch so badly. *sigh* Good explanation of brain/mind and what ‘review’ means to you! All your answers were great of course! And some of us have to be gloomy or who would the sunny people stand out from? More of us by far! Have a great week.

I’ve followed Glennon for about five or six years now. I first found her as a blogger then read her books then got pulled all the way into her personal story as she went through some changes. Now she’s married to Abby Wambach and living in CA (I think). You should check her out.

My nature is becoming less sunny every time there is yet another mass shooting and our government talks but doesn’t walk the walk.
