For those of you who peeked down below at the prompt: I think we all know damn well and good I won’t be writing about irons. I don’t golf, I’m not an expert on supplements, and I embraced wrinkles a long time ago.
In my clothes. I embraced wrinkles in my clothes.
Hell, who am I kidding, I embraced wrinkles on my face too since Botox isn’t in the cards for me.
Anyhoo, let us focus on the second option. Irony. If only this had been offered as a language in school…
Irony 101: A nuanced look at the underpinnings of irony in everyday English lexicon.
Irony 201: Pursue fluency in rudimentary irony.
Irony 301: Master irony as a primary communication device as well as its value in subconscious communication. Final project will include travel to evaluate irony’s prevalence in non-American cultures.
Why didn’t I see course offerings like this in school?
Linda hosts Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week’s prompt is “iron(y).” Use “iron,” use “irony,” or use both. Use them any way you’d like. Bonus points if you use both. Have fun!
I like the expression, “embraced wrinkles.”

Kind of sums up the whole attitude, I think.

Here’s to embracing the wrinkles, wherever they may be.
