When you were a kid, did you eat the crusts on your sandwich or not?

Kind of. Most days I’d eat up to the edge and down the crust but for some reason the crust corner was a bridge too far. I’d always end up crumpling those little crust nubs into napkins so I could toss them out.

Are you a fan of musicals—why or why not?

I am. I love both music and storytelling so why wouldn’t I love something that combines them?

Is it difficult to do what you do? (for a living, hobby etc.). If you’re retired, what you ‘did’ previously for a job can be substituted.

It is for me.

What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?  (Doesn’t have to be a rock concert either).

We saw an REM concert that was pretty awesome. I also caught a concert by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians in college that was fantastic.

Looking back over your life, what is one thing you’re grateful for? One thing you really regret?

I’m grateful I knew enough about myself to finish earning my degrees before joining the workforce full-time. I have no idea how people manage to hold down jobs while taking college classes at night. I guess I regret not learning earlier how to advocate for myself.
