And just like that another election has passed. A few races are yet to be called, most have been decided. Across America some people celebrate, others feel bitterly disappointed or outright angry, while there are still those who hold steadfast in the belief politics has nothing to do with them.
Some of us have a hard pill to swallow. What happens now? We stop, we breathe, we regroup, we do what’s next.

I like the last line. “We do what’s next.” It could apply to any situation.

I’ve found that sometimes I have to give myself grace to step back and breathe but then gear up and move on.
