Does the weather affect your mood?

Absolutely. Rainy days make me sleepy, sometimes they make me blue. Sunny days pick me up and winter weather makes me want to hibernate. Frankly I have a hard time understanding people whose moods are unrelated to the weather.

If a stranger smiles at you or says ‘good morning’ when they pass you in the street, do you return it?

I do. It doesn’t take much to meet kindness with kindness and every bit makes the world a better place. That being said I’m a woman living her life out here and I trust my gut so if someone’s giving off a wonky vibe then I fix my gaze and keep it moving. Safety first.

If you had a choice of just one of these things to eat, what would it be and why. Chocolate, a sweet pastry, a plate of chips/fries (this is not a forever choice, just one instance).

If we could suspend the entirely inconvenient gluten sensitivity then I’d say yes to that pastry all the live long day. Soft warm bread with delicious filling or sweet icing makes life feel good.

If you could go back to when you were a specific age, what would that be? Why?

Is it weird that I can’t think of a single age I’d want to go back to? That’s strange, right? But I can’t. So there it is.

Gratitude:

I’d like a cabin in the woods. Well, I like the idea of a cabin in the woods. Actually I’d like to like the idea of a cabin in the woods…y’know, if it weren’t for the pitch blackness and big bugs and tenuous internet access and every horror movie in circulation using my homestead as a setting for bloody axe murders. Except for all that I’d like a cabin. Just saying.
