Who is your favourite Super Hero?

These days I’d say it’s Black Panther.

Would you like to have a Super power?

Critical thinking for the win. I would love to grasp complexity and nuance at a superhuman speed right now.

Who is your favourite James Bond?

I’m concerned that this may be akin to setting my website on fire but [deep breath here] I don’t actually have an opinion on this. Shoot, I can’t even name two actors who have played James Bond. I’m aware it’s a topic of conversation among people who feel strongly about the brand but that is the extent of my knowledge base.

Have you seen Top Gun: Maverick with the late Val Kilmer?

I have. The original Top Gun was one of those iconic movie experiences that popped off when I was in high school and was what we call A Big Damn Deal around these parts. The Maverick installment felt a little — I don’t know what the word is. Extra? Convoluted? A weird covid lockdown flex where Tom Cruise leveraged being able to fly his own jet? I was curious enough, though, so we went to see the movie. Val Kilmer’s character was striking.

Floofy cat bellies, Gracie’s big derpy grin, Cajun Fish and Savory Cheese Grits, a great song playlist, and whipped vanilla shea butter.
