I wonder who leaked it and why, and if the leaking could be a good thing – so that people have a chance to respond before the court votes.

I haven’t spent too much energy on this, mostly because my brain spins off in too many directions. Is it a test the waters leak to see how furious the backlash would be, is it to help them polish the language, is it a dump during primary season with an official ruling this summer before the election…but all that is political and I remind myself the Supreme Court is *supposed* to be apolitical. It’s shocking how little respect I have left for what was once a revered group.

I am also angry, but even more, I am distressed and much concerned about the future of this country – add to this news the news that JD Vance won the GOP primary in Ohio – where are we headed? I’m not sure I can survive much more Trumpism.

Interesting you’d say that. I avoid live tv but tuned into the nightly news last night because my niece contributed to a piece of theirs. I was shocked at the political ads running, many of which were basically “TRUMP APPROVED!” promos. I’d say the GOP followers get what they deserve at this point but they’re dragging us along for far too much of it.

It is almost inconceivable that we will be thrust backwards 50+ years. It is an outrage. Also, we absolutely need to ensure that the Equal Rights Amendment gets passed ASAP.
