Does your first or middle name have any significance (or were you named after another family member)?
I was named after women on both sides of my family.
Music or silence while working?
Depends on my mood. I almost always start with some sort of background noise, but if I have trouble focusing I cut everything off. The exception is when I’m writing at the lake – I prefer silence there.
If you had a special place for your three most special possessions (not including photos, electronics, people or animals), what would they be?
1) The quilt my mom made for me before I got married. It’s sewed from patches of my clothes over the years and hangs on a quilt rack in our bedroom. 2) My aqua journal. I’m currently working on a project in longhand, and there’s no other record of it. 3) My stones – a rose quartz and ones that read “strength,” “serenity,” and “blessings.”
The Never List: What are things you know you never will do?
Climb Mt. Everest, sky diving, become a butcher, give up deodorant, move somewhere without electricity or indoor plumbing, or own a motorcycle.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful for time with friends and a chance to sing on Sunday.
This week we have a pretty full calendar. Bear’s got a lot going on at school, something almost every day, culminating in a Saturday schedule that runs from 7:30 in the morning to 9:30 at night. Hopefully we’ll manage to sneak a dinner break in there.

Cee’s Share Your World is a weekly feature – all are welcome to play along.
What’s going on in your world?
Climb Mt Everest is starting to be the most popular answer for the never list. 😀

Too funny, because I know some people have that at the top of their ultimate bucket list! But let’s get serious about it — not only don’t I not want to put myself through that, there’s no way I’d survive the experience. The climb, the temperatures, the oxygen levels…I’d be one of those bodies marking the climb!

I have the flip side of your name-I’m named after my grandfather’s (my parents really wanted a son). Explaining that never gets old. Lol.
