That can be a sigh of relief or resignation or a tired so tired you could tip right over in the checkout line. Our country can’t agree on much right now but it seems we can all agree that we are freaking t-i-r-e-d.

Do you need a break? Take it, man. Turn off your phone and take a nap. Get coffee or ice cream or just hide in your car for a bit, whatever makes you feel a little better. Take a walk if the weather’s nice. Stay in your PJs and do absolutely nothing on your day off. Take care of you.

I stopped clicking on my news alerts this week. Yes, I know I can turn off that setting and I’ll get to that today but for the last few days I just stopped looking. Revolutionary. Someone will reach me if world war 3 breaks out so for now I’m letting it ride.

Decide to protect your peace and then go for it. It won’t fix a dumpster fire but it will do worlds for the twisty anxiety in your gut. Then you can get back into it when you’re feeling more on solid ground.
