If money was no object, where in the world would you like to visit?
I make it a rule not to read pensitivity’s answers before writing my post and I’m reminded today why. I can’t get her answer of New Zealand and Thailand out of my head! If I flew all the way to New Zealand I’d add on Australia while I’m there.
Would you like to visit Outer Space?
No no nopeity no noooooooooooooooo. Enclosed in a small space knowing I’d suffocate if the systems failed? I’m good, I’ll look at the photos other people send back.
Have you ever been on a cruise?
I have. My motion sickness won that particular battle. I’ve had a lot of people suggest advances in managing nausea over the years since but I also found the port schedule/ticking time bomb of DON’T MISS THE BOAT stressful.
Would you like to go on an underwater adventure?
This one I’ve actually tried in the form of scuba diving. See space comment above. Also my One and Done post.
Gratitude:
We spent the weekend in Atlanta visiting our daughter. It was a lovely time, six hour drive not withstanding.

I agree with your answers except the underwater, I’ve snorted and happy with that

I’ve done better with snorkeling than that one attempt at scuba but still struggle with the mask/breathing tube. It is lovely watching those fish dart around though.

Bravo on your scuba dive. I cannot bear to have my head underwater following the PE teacher at grammar school pushing me into the pool when I wasn’t ready. I can swim and not afraid of water, but always keep my head up. This puts a strain on my neck and back, but at least in short doses I can do it.
Thanks for joining in and sharing your world Laura.

What on earth?! I swear, the way PE teachers have scarred most of us is almost criminal. So glad you found a way to enjoy the water anyway.

She was a bitch and in today’s eyes would be seen as a bully. She pushed me to play a defence position in hockey (which I hated as I preferred netball and she knew it) and I stopped a cannon shot with my shin which knocked me down. It’s a miracle it didn’t break a bone but she insisted I get up and carry on. Another time she made me run 100 meters and I passed out before the finish line. When I came to, she said it was because I was too fat and ate too much. After that, whenever she was on lunch duty, she watched how much I ate. I disliked her with a passion, and she knew that too, which made things worse.
