Do you play a musical instrument?

I don’t. There was an ultimately unfortunate attempt to learn to play the flute in elementary school but in the end it was a no go.

Is there an instrument you wish you could play?

I think being able to play the piano or guitar would be cool.

Can you read music?

I can read enough to be able to sing. I need someone to give me the first note because I don’t have that gift of seeing a C and being able to sing it from memory. If I get that first note I can usually muddle through.

Do you have a favourite memory that involves music?

Singing “Carol of the Bells” at a church service many years ago. There’s something about the harmonies blending together that’s always moving and being a part of it was inspirational. Now I did nearly pass out as they had me in at second soprano instead of alto but, y’know, bygones.

Our daughter came in to visit for the weekend, the weather is almost warm enough for regular flip flop use, and birds are really starting to enjoy the two extra feeders BrightSide helped me put up.
