Do you prefer a bath or shower?
Conceptually, I like the idea of a bath, but in real life I prefer a shower.
What do you do to make a living or during the day? If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying?
I guess you’d say I’m in the middle stage of life. I’m a stay at home mom, but my kids are in middle school and much more self-sufficient now (thank heavens). These days I split my time between volunteering at the elementary school, blogging, taxi service for my non-driving kiddos, master schedule keeper, and a lot of health related stuff.
Is there a stuffed animal in your bedroom?
Actually, yes. A few years ago Bear gave me a dangling purple monkey to hang on my bed. It lives in my nightstand drawer now because, well, having that thing dangling over my pillow sort of freaked me out. But she knows it’s always within reach, so Bear’s okay with the relocation.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I particularly appreciated one thing in particular about church this week. One of our members built our new altar last fall, and it’s this gorgeous combination of woods that are different colors and come from around the world. I can’t help but be inspired when I think about how many hours of service he put into that single element of our service. It’s the perfect example of using the gifts God gives you in praise and worship.
Cee’s Share Your World drops on Mondays. I’m a bit belated this week.
What’s happening in your world?

That altar sounds beautiful in two ways. I wouldn’t mind to see it, if you’re inclined to share.
I love the days I feel clean enough to enjoy a bath 🙂

I shower for need and take a bath for pleasure.
I just launched my blog. I’m super excited! It’s focus is to encourage self confidence with wellness. I also live on a farm. I talked hubby into sheep and chickens this summer and we already had cows.
I have Pinky- a stuffed pink cat from my Grandpa and BettyLou, a doll on a shelf above my bed. She was a gift when I was so small I’m not 100% sure who she came from.
In November an 80 Year old gentleman moved in with us. He spent his working years on various farms as a farm hand. He moved here because he wanted someplace he could continue to putter. Clearly, he is sore and everything is harder for him, but each day he just putters along doing whatever he’s chosen to do. He has no quit.

Living on a farm sounds lovely — I’ve met several blogger friends who do & they love the peace of it. Do you work it full time? Or do you do another job, too? (Your 80 yr old farmhand sounds awesome!)
I’m looking forward to checking out your blog!

I was working full time but had some health issues that prompted me to work from home. My husband works out, teaching safety courses as a contractor.
I adore living on the farm! We often eat late in the day – because I get outside and don’t want to go in hahaha Little easier coming inside during a Canadian winter.

I used to tell my wife that the constant taxi service was nature’s way of preparing us for letting our daughter drive. By the time she was able to take the car, I was happy to give her the keys.
