What to you is the first sign of Spring?

We have an uptick in chirpy birdsong and the daffodils bloom behind the back fence. Bonus sign in North Carolina: needing a jacket in the morning but sweating your butt off by noon.

Do you have a favourite flower at this time of year?

Daffodils are my favorite. Bright, sunny – they definitely remind me of springtime.

Does your country exercise the hour change?

We sure do and nobody I know is in favor of it. It’s definitely easier now that the kids are grown and manage their own adjustment. Shifting those bedtimes and morning alarms was SO not fun.

Do you spring clean your home throughout, change furniture around or keep to a normal routine?

I mostly keep to a normal routine but every five years or so I get the spring cleaning itch. I’ll be super productive and collect up donations as I clean out closets. I dusted our fans the other day so I guess we’re gonna have a productive spring 2024.

Gratitude:

The weather is mild and mostly pretty. My allergies haven’t kicked in full force yet. Plus I’m enjoying the hawks, woodpeckers, crows, and cardinals from our kitchen window.
