And isn’t that wonderful knowledge to hold? I’m still not sure when it fully kicked in but I don’t think it really began until my 40s. I wish we could find a way to help young adults embrace it earlier.

Something I struggled with for much of my life, but old age and living my own life has taught me to put aside “what other people think” and just be me.

Moving into my fifties has made such a shift for me. I think this has been one of the undersold benefits of getting older. It has gotten so much easier to see what’s noise and what matters.🙂
