Words well taken – in this society where the focus is on blasting through all obstacles no matter what’s in the way of the ‘goal’, subtle messages often go unheeded and/or dismissed as not important.
So very true. I wish I’d get better at accepting when enough’s enough sooner. We’re so conditioned to make things work, fix it, keep trying that by the time I decide to protect my peace I’m ready to burn things down. It’s not quite the healthy version of me I’d like to be.
This is like therapy. I need to put it on my refrigerator.

Absolutely. I think so many of us trained up to be very much “eye on the prize” and it takes work to slow down and assess everything around us.
